Quality Assurance and Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at American Honda Motor Co.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to prevent defects from reaching customers.
About the RoleThis role is ideal for an individual with a passion for quality assurance and a keen eye for detail. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with production staff, quality check route associates, and other teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Propose lineside quality decisions related to non-conforming product through problem analysis.
- Understand customer conditions and the impact related to the decisions they are making.
- Develop countermeasure plans for customer plant & engine pull defects.
- Train and develop PSQ to feedback to PH and QSD trouble related to supplied parts.
- In the event of a quality issue, make decisions on quality containment and identify first good parts.
- Develop improvement ideas on difficult processes to prevent further outflow of defects.
- Closed quality issues through the analysis steps, data collection, summarization, and presentation of results.
- Evaluate the situation, determine prioritization such as urgent, high risk, and develop special projects as needed.
- 0-6 years of experience based on education.
- Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field; or equivalent relevant job experience.
- Experience in PDCA, problem analysis, and countermeasure development.
- Understanding of Honda quality systems and flow.
