Job Title: Aquatic Instructor

We are seeking an experienced and certified Aquatic Instructor to join our team at the Georgia Mountains YMCA. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. About the Role:
  • Provide high-quality swimming instruction to students of all ages and abilities.
  • Plan and implement engaging program activities that align with YMCA values and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain constant supervision of students and identify those who require assistance to ensure their safety.
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Swim Instructor or equivalent experience.
  • Basic life support certification, first aid training, and child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize hazardous situations and respond accordingly.
  • Patient communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and caregivers.
