Job Summary
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage patient care plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient care and progress in our electronic health record system
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health promotion and disease management
- Collaborate with our Case Management team to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
- Reliable transportation
