About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at River Oaks Hospital, a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents, and children. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the healing and health of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective interventions to promote patient well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nurses.
  • Ability to clearly speak, write, and understand verbal and written English.
  • Previous experience in a psychiatric hospital or related human service field is preferred.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment and provide service to all populations while demonstrating the Service Excellence Standards.
