Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Polysomnographer to join their team in Elmira, New York.
Job DescriptionAs a Polysomnographer, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with sleep disorders. You will work in a sleep center, hospital, clinic, or private practice, operating sleep monitoring equipment, explaining procedures to patients, preparing patients for monitoring, administering oxygen, monitoring vital signs, and recording data.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with sleep disorders
- Operate sleep monitoring equipment
- Explain procedures to patients
- Prepare patients for monitoring
- Administer oxygen
- Monitor vital signs
- Record data
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a relevant setting and specialty
- RPSGT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
