We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health RN Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Discovery Behavioral Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing nursing activities and personnel, ensuring compliance with facility regulations, and promoting a positive culture that embodies our mission.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing activities and personnel
- Ensure compliance with facility regulations and standards
- Develop and maintain schedules for nursing staff
- Provide training and support for medication management and vitals
- Teach abuse prevention and foster open communication with doctors
- Perform chart audits and manage pharmacy setup and maintenance
- Participate in treatment teams and provide quarterly audits of medication rooms
- Responsible for proper storage and disposal of medical waste
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Nurse in the state of employment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Two years' experience in compliance and personnel management preferred
- Experience with adolescent psychiatric care preferred
