About the Role

Lifelancer is a talent-hiring platform in Life Sciences, Pharma and IT. We are seeking a skilled Technical Automation Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate process automation software development for pharmaceutical projects
  • Work with system integrators to develop functional specifications
  • Ensure consistency of the automation work within their area
  • Participate in reviews of control strategies and P&IDs
  • Assist in defining DeltaV software components that need to be built or modified
  • Communicate progress, issues, and needs to the Project Technical Lead
  • Develop functional requirements working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Support creation of Parameter and Recipe Specification documents
  • Respond to technical queries from system integrators
  • Support automation software testing execution and witness Software Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Identify remediation efforts required on process control software
  • Build items in the issue tracker as issues arise after software acceptance
  • Identify and analyze technical risks and plan responses

Requirements:

  • 8+ years relevant DeltaV experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
  • Previous Pharmaceutical Automation Project experience, including deriving S88 physical models and DeltaV DCS implementation exposure
  • Solid understanding of GMPs, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

  • A competitive salary of $73,441-$130,500 per year, depending on experience
