Technical Automation Specialist

About the Role
Lifelancer is a talent-hiring platform in Life Sciences, Pharma and IT. We are seeking a skilled Technical Automation Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate process automation software development for pharmaceutical projects
- Work with system integrators to develop functional specifications
- Ensure consistency of the automation work within their area
- Participate in reviews of control strategies and P&IDs
- Assist in defining DeltaV software components that need to be built or modified
- Communicate progress, issues, and needs to the Project Technical Lead
- Develop functional requirements working in multidisciplinary teams
- Support creation of Parameter and Recipe Specification documents
- Respond to technical queries from system integrators
- Support automation software testing execution and witness Software Factory Acceptance Tests
- Identify remediation efforts required on process control software
- Build items in the issue tracker as issues arise after software acceptance
- Identify and analyze technical risks and plan responses
Requirements:
- 8+ years relevant DeltaV experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
- Previous Pharmaceutical Automation Project experience, including deriving S88 physical models and DeltaV DCS implementation exposure
- Solid understanding of GMPs, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

- A competitive salary of $73,441-$130,500 per year, depending on experience
