Job Title: Therapist

Job Summary:

White Sands Treatment Centers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide group, individual, and family therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the master treatment plan and assist in coordinating discharge planning
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, families, referral sources, and other service providers
  • Act as a liaison with the Utilization Review Department on all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

  • LCSW / LMHC / LMFT (or licensed intern) preferred
  • Knowledge of Substance Use/Co-occurring Treatment
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations
  • Knowledge of Utilization Review requirements for documentation and level of care

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining systems to efficiently serve patients
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience serving patients with mental health and substance use disorders
  • Master's Degree in Human Services field
  • Clinical Licensure in the state of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) preferred
  • CAP, MCAP Certified preferred
