About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team at Dialysis Clinic Inc. As a Dialysis Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care and supporting our mission to prioritize individualized care for patients facing chronic kidney disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease, supporting clinical staff throughout the dialysis treatment process to deliver prescribed treatments.
  • Actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities.
  • Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment.
  • Insert and remove patient access needles.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform charge nurses of any concerns.
  • Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
  • Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights.
  • Maintain and track inventory.
  • Perform laboratory work.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous dialysis experience preferred.
  • CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills desired.
  • DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training.
