The RIT Inn & Conference Center, a premier hotel in Rochester, New York, is seeking a skilled Culinary Sanitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our food service staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen facilities. This includes sanitizing all cookware, china, glassware, silverware, and utensils used in food production and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area, ensuring that all supplies are readily available and easily accessible.
  • Safely store all pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, silverware, and other equipment used in food preparation and service.
  • Dispose of garbage and maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including coolers, counters, shelves, equipment, floors, and other designated cleaning projects.
  • Assist with meal plating and food preparation as needed.

In addition to your culinary skills, you must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as you will work closely with our staff to achieve high levels of cooperation and service excellence. We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 per year, plus benefits and flexible scheduling opportunities.
