Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer Blaster Helper to join our team at Dyno Nobel. As a key member of our blasting crew, you will be responsible for operating skid steer equipment and assisting blasters and operators in the loading of blast holes. You will also be involved in the preparation of explosive products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate skid steer equipment to assist in the loading of blast holes.
  • Assist blasters and operators in the preparation of explosive products for customers.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in the shop, while operating equipment, and while on blast sites.
  • Report all incidents and hazardous conditions to appropriate supervisors.
  • Comply with Loss Control Board mandates in support of the implementation of all policies improving the quality of blasting services and limiting liability exposure related to the blast event.
  • Proactively support Safety programs by participating in training and safety meetings.
Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Good work habits and prior manual labor experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English and to communicate in writing and verbally.
  • Present oneself in a professional manner at all times.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
