Data Engineering Role at Cardinal Health

Data Engineering plays a crucial role in Cardinal Health by ensuring raw data is usable and accessible for the organization. This function encompasses numerous specialties of data acquisition, integration, and provisioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage analytic data platforms, the access, design, and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions
  • Apply advanced quantitative modeling to drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities
  • Develop technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
  • Work on complex projects of large scope and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities
  • Develops innovative solutions consistent with organization objectives
  • Completes work independently and receives general guidance on new projects
  • May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
