Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Wexford Health Sources, Inc. in Canton, IL. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to incarcerated individuals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Direct and guide patient teaching activities under the guidance of Registered Nurses.
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient care and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment programs.
  • Provide non-professional nursing care duties in the assessment of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an LPN in the state of Illinois.
  • Current CPR certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety and Health Institute).
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Preferred experience: one year of clinical experience and prior experience with electronic medical record systems.
