Position Overview
St. Lawrence Health is seeking to recruit full-time Advanced Practice Providers specializing in Surgical Services and Hospitalist Care.
The responsibilities for this role encompass a blend of Surgical First Assist duties in the Operating Room and Medical Surgical Floor responsibilities.
- Medical Surgical Floor responsibilities involve daily patient rounds, documentation of progress notes, managing medical orders, patient admissions, discharges, and consultations.
- The provider will primarily engage with patients in General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic specialties.
- Flexible shift options are available, accommodating either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts weekly, along with on-call duties.
- Daytime shifts are from 7 AM to 5 PM or evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM.
- The provider is expected to handle approximately five on-call duties monthly, including one weekend. Weekend on-call spans from Friday at 5 PM to Monday at 7 AM.
- Monday will be designated as a day off following weekend on-call duties.
- The primary workplace will be within the facilities of Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $135,000-$161,000*
Signing Bonus: $5,000.00
Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500.00
Licensing and Dues Coverage: $1,000
Continuing Medical Education (CME) Allowance: $2,000
Paid Time Off: 200 hours
Holiday Leave: Up to 7 days
Compensation Summary: The stated salary range is a good faith estimate of the potential base salary for a successful full-time candidate. This range may be subject to change and may include additional compensation components. Salary determination will consider factors such as experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual agreements.
In addition to the base salary, certain provider roles may qualify for variable compensation in line with health system compensation practices. This may encompass productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus payments, or other forms of variable remuneration.
