Position Summary

This role is customer-focused, involving the weighing of customer vehicles and the issuance of purchase confirmations. The position requires physical labor on-site and includes operating various equipment, including a water truck.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weigh customer trucks and provide proof of purchase
  • Handle payment transactions
  • Collaborate with both internal and external customers to ensure timely deliveries
  • Operate water trucks and other machinery as required
  • Perform steel cutting and welding tasks
  • Prepare and maintain work sites to mitigate hazards
  • Control machinery attachments, including blades and buckets
  • Start and operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers and excavators
  • Coordinate equipment operations with other site activities
  • Safely maneuver equipment in a busy environment
  • Transport materials using various tools and equipment
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and usability of tools and equipment
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
  • Assist in preventive maintenance and repairs as necessary

Requirements

  • Compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with aggregate operations is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills are advantageous
  • Valid State Driver's License is required

  • Capability to work independently
  • Proficient in web-based applications and MS Office products

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position involves walking, occasional climbing, and navigating uneven terrain. Duties may require prolonged standing and exposure to varying weather conditions. Employees must perform tasks safely and effectively, ensuring their own health and safety as well as that of others.
