Job Title: Peer Recovery Coach

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Peer Recovery Coach to join our team at Princeton Community Hospital Association, Inc. As a Peer Recovery Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with substance use disorders in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with patients to identify treatment needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide mentoring and support to individuals experiencing substance use problems
  • Link patients to available resources, including continuing education, safe housing, recovery supports, and medical/health facilities
  • Serve as a liaison to the patient's formal and informal supports, including family members, client sponsors, treatment providers, and other supporters
  • Assist patients in crisis situations involving social, emotional, health, and other problems
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of state or nationally recognized Peer Recovery Support Specialist Certification training
  • WVCBAPP Peer Recovery Certification within one year of hire date
  • Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
  • WVCBAPP Peer Recovery Certification
  • Certificate of completion of the CCAR Recovery Coaching in the Emergency Department
  • Active participation in the recovery for two or more years and current active attendance at community recovery meetings
