Peer Recovery Coach

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Peer Recovery Coach to join our team at Princeton Community Hospital Association, Inc. As a Peer Recovery Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with substance use disorders in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with patients to identify treatment needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide mentoring and support to individuals experiencing substance use problems
- Link patients to available resources, including continuing education, safe housing, recovery supports, and medical/health facilities
- Serve as a liaison to the patient's formal and informal supports, including family members, client sponsors, treatment providers, and other supporters
- Assist patients in crisis situations involving social, emotional, health, and other problems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of state or nationally recognized Peer Recovery Support Specialist Certification training
- WVCBAPP Peer Recovery Certification within one year of hire date
- Valid Driver's License
- WVCBAPP Peer Recovery Certification
- Certificate of completion of the CCAR Recovery Coaching in the Emergency Department
- Active participation in the recovery for two or more years and current active attendance at community recovery meetings
The Peer Recovery Coach will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
