Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in planning and conducting Occupational Therapy treatments and patient education.
  • Communicate openly with the Occupational Therapist concerning progress of all patients and be open to suggestions in treatment approaches and techniques.
  • Observe, record, and report on patients' condition, reaction, and response to treatment according to the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
  • Provide timely progress notes and charges.
  • Assist in training and orienting students, new employees, or volunteers.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Junior College/Technical School required.
  • Licensure by the West Virginia State Board of Occupational Therapy required.
  • Previous position-related experience preferred.
