Job DescriptionNeogen Care is a leading provider of medical and non-medical home care services, striving to improve the quality of life for patients in the home. We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of highly trained professionals in the California Bay Area.

We are a well-established Home Health Care agency with patients throughout the California Bay Area, Greater Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties. Our agency is fully partnered with Kaiser Permanente, sharing their culture and vision to provide patient-centered care with a strong focus on quality throughout our patient care operations.

We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with our fast-growing team, providing speech, language, and swallowing disorder diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a California Speech & Language Pathologist license, and a strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.

Essential Functions:
  • Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
  • Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
  • Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
  • Keep detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
  • Report progress and current status to appropriate parties.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • California Speech & Language Pathologist license.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
  • Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databases.
  • Reliable Transportation and Auto Insurance.
  • CPR Certification.
