• Assist in the configuration of servers, workstations, panels, and other programmable elements under guidance
• Conduct testing to confirm the quality of installations
• Perform testing to identify and rectify system issues at both component and system levels as part of ongoing system support
• Install system raceways
• Install system cabling
• Terminate and test system cabling and all associated components
• Set up equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and all mounting hardware
• Adhere to attendance requirements and working hours of the role
• Communicate effectively with management
• Implement, adhere to, and promote all necessary safety protocols
• Complete thorough and precise as-built, testing, and quality assurance documentation
• Participate in logistical planning for personnel and equipment
• Act as a reliable liaison for field operations with client representatives

Key Responsibilities:
• Apply and assess comprehensive M.C. Dean drawing packages
• Document necessary modifications to drawings in the field
• Support engineers with updates to drawing sets based on modifications
• Utilize project timelines to create and revise Four Week Look Ahead forecasts
• Complete SES project documentation in accordance with M.C. Dean standards, including but not limited to Change Orders, Requests for Information (RFIs), Detailed Daily Reports, Takeoff Sheets, and Daily Time
• Lead teams on small to moderately complex installation projects
• Conduct and document daily safety briefings
• Install all head-end equipment at both local and global levels according to design specifications
• Program head-end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems
• Troubleshoot and isolate both systems and/or hardware at local and global levels
• Troubleshoot and resolve head-end programming challenges
• Develop quality control punch lists (e.g., Daily Lists, Performance Verification Testing, and Final Acceptance)
• Assign support and trouble tickets in IMMS and ensure resolution of issues
• Manage small teams of junior Technicians and/or Apprentices as required

Position / Candidate Qualifications:
• An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is mandatory
• High School diploma or GED

Formal Electronics Training Requirements:
• Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours)
• or
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program
• or
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
• or
• An additional three (3) years of experience in electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
• Valid driver's license
• May require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
• Selected candidates must maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy
• 8-10 years of experience in electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs
• Vendor certifications in various IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems

Travel Requirements:
• 25% CONUS and OCONUS

Tools and Schedule:
• Must possess required tools as listed on the company tool list
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule as needed

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Certifications:
• Certifications and experience with LENEL, Software House CCURE, Verint, MDI, AMAG Symmetry, Bosch BVMS, FFT, Honeywell Video & Vindicator, and Proximex systems installation.
• Attention to detail in executing Performance Verification Tests
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic security systems and perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance
• Strong communication and writing abilities

Physical Abilities:
• Ability to lift at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for extended periods
• Capable of relocating a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
• Able to work at various heights up to 60 feet and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders
• Regularly walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead
• Possess good vision (correctable) and the ability to see in color, as well as hear and communicate in English
• Capable of using a standard ladder without exceeding weight limits while carrying tools
• Recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong without necessarily solving the problem
• Apply general rules to specific problems to derive sensible answers
• Combine information to form general rules or conclusions, including identifying relationships among seemingly unrelated events
• See details at close range (within a few feet) and listen to understand spoken information.
