Job Responsibilities

As a Travel RN in the PICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill pediatric patients. Your role will include:

  • Delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PICU.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitoring and assessing patient conditions and responding to changes.
  • Documenting patient care and progress accurately.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Active nursing license in the relevant state or compact license.
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a PICU setting.
  • Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR is required.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Additional Information

Other Considerations:

  • Occasional floating to other units such as NICU, CVICU, IMU, or Burn ICU may be required.
  • Must successfully complete a fit test (facial hair restrictions apply).
  • Must pass a nicotine test.
