Job Title: Director of IT

At Kewa Pueblo Health Corporation (KPHC), we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of IT to lead our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing technology plans and systems that support our strategic objectives.

Job Summary

The Director of IT will provide technical leadership and management for the development and implementation of technology plans and systems. This includes analyzing national and local data requirements, designing new systems for data collection, manipulation, and reporting, and providing technical support and consultation to users and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technology plans and systems that support our strategic objectives.
  • Analyze national and local data requirements and design new systems for data collection, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Provide technical support and consultation to users and management.
  • Lead the technology team and provide guidance and direction on technology-related matters.
  • Develop and manage the technology budget and ensure that technology investments align with our strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our technology systems and data.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends and make recommendations for their adoption.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of computer systems, organizational technology systems, implementation, project management, team leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in managing both physical and logical information security systems.
  • Strong technical skills, including application and operating system hardening, vulnerability assessments, security audits, TCP/IP, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with multiple site systems and various computer program systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of servers, fiber optics, data lines, cloud networking systems, encryption, etc.
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification or other equivalent certification.
  • Bilingual skills in English and the Keres native language.
  • Prior experience working with Indian Health Services (IHS), a Tribe or Tribal Organization.
