Jeweler Specialist

About the Role

The Jeweler will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on luxury jewelry pieces, including setting, sizing, retipping, welding, soldering, polishing, engraving, and cleaning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of jewelry making and repairs, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in all phases of jewelry repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on luxury jewelry pieces, including setting, sizing, retipping, welding, soldering, polishing, engraving, and cleaning.
• Work collaboratively with the customer service team to ensure smooth flow of client repairs.
• Provide accurate assessments of merchandise quality and condition to inform company decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, adhering to company standards.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment and tools, ensuring safe operation and maintenance.
• Request and maintain shop supplies, including tools and findings, adhering to best shop practices.
• Continuously pursue personal and shop improvement, staying up-to-date on new skills, processes, and methods.
• Work professionally, efficiently, and courteously with all store and company staff, fostering teamwork and respect.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 3-5 years' experience working in high-end luxury pieces, preferred.
• Knowledge of jewelry making and repairs, including 18K gold and platinum.
• Experience with laser welding, rhodium plating, and laser engraving.
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, multitask, and meet deadlines.
