**Job Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team at Empowered For Excellence. This role involves providing excellent patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of service during their visits.

**Responsibilities**

  • Client Check-in and Check-out: Verify patient information and check clients in/out for Psych appointments.
  • Patient Documentation: Accurately document patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on follow-up care instructions.
  • Maintaining Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to mental health and addiction.
  • Administrative Tasks: Check faxes, scan documents, and make daily appointment reminder calls.
  • Office Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized office environment.

**Requirements**

  • Certification or Equivalent Experience: Hold certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Medical Terminology:** Possess proficiency in medical terminology relevant to outpatient care and hospital environments.
  • Behavioral Background:** A background in behavioral health is highly valued.
  • Communication Skills:** Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for managing patient records and appointments.
  • Teamwork:** Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Compassionate Care: Commitment to providing compassionate patient care in alignment with best practices in the medical field.

**Work Hours and Compensation**

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, paid bi-weekly, and a comprehensive benefits package. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
