We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Helper to join our team at Brown & Root Industrial Services. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient assembly and maintenance of scaffolding systems on our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Maintenance: Assemble scaffold components, including handrails, mid rails, braces, and planks, to meet job specifications.
- Form Bracing: Brace forms in place with timbers, tie rods, and anchor bolts for use in building concrete piers, footings, and walls.
- Scaffolding Security: Secure scaffolding to permanent structures by tying.
- Erection and Installation: Erect scaffolding for buildings and other structures and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
- Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect base surfaces for obstructions and ensure that scaffolding systems are safe and secure.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of scaffolding systems and construction safety protocols. You will also need to be physically fit and able to work at heights.
