Checkout Assistant

Job Summary

This Checkout Assistant position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people and are detail-oriented. As a member of our retail team, you will be responsible for processing transactions, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent customer service.

Essential Duties

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, using cash registers and other point-of-sale systems.
• Restock shelves, maintain visual displays, and ensure the store appears well-maintained at all times.
• Participate in merchandising efforts, including setting up displays and creating attractive product arrangements.
• Maintain a safe and secure store environment by reporting any incidents or concerns to management immediately.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
