About the Role

This position involves working as part of a dynamic team to ensure that our stores meet the high standards of Hy-Vee Food Stores. As an HBC Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining displays, and supporting other team members.

Main Responsibilities
  • Receive and stock merchandise, ensuring that it is properly displayed and rotated.
  • Maintain displays in the department and throughout the store, ensuring that they are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
  • Support other team members by covering their shifts or assisting with tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • You should be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • You must be able to perform the following physical activities: climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
