We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. As a Physician, you will be responsible for providing primary ambulatory medical care to offenders in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients, including taking patient histories, conducting examinations, and ordering lab tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including medication management and minor surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in regional after-hours call and provide emergency medical care as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate efforts of other physicians and physician extenders assigned to the unit.
