We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Production Technician to join our team in Plymouth, MN. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $19.00/hour.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing repetitive mechanical assembly tasks involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work.
Key Responsibilities:- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
- Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality
- Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence
- Assembles and/or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination
- Maintains equipment and area in clean safe condition
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude as evidenced by work experience, high school/tech school coursework, hobbies, etc.
- Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis
- Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and written
