Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated fellowship-trained hematologist oncologist to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This position will involve managing a variety of hematologic and oncologic conditions with a focus on breast oncology.

  • Shared call coverage with other physicians in the practice, including weekends
  • Inpatient coverage will be supported by a team of advanced practice providers and other physicians within the practice
  • Access to research, clinical trials, tumor boards, and multidisciplinary care including nurse navigators, chaplains, social workers, palliative medicine, and surgery
  • Collaboration with leading experts and cutting-edge treatments in the field of hematology oncology
  • Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students

Requirements

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology

Practice Description

This employment opportunity includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, CME days and allowance, 403b retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance. This practice is part of AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG), a sister organization of AdventHealth that employs over 900 physicians in 70 specialties.

Hospital Description

AdventHealth Orlando is a 1,400-bed quaternary facility with close to 200 ICU beds. It is at the center of eight other hospitals around the Greater Orlando area, which total approximately 3,000 beds. AdventHealth operates many hospitals across nine different states, with 30 in Florida. Our mission remains to extend the healing ministry of Christ.
