Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at ASARCO LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient mine site while supporting the overall project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment as required.
  • Build and dismantle scaffolding and temporary structures to facilitate construction activities.
  • Dig trenches, compact earth, and backfill holes to support site preparation.
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment and machinery to ensure efficient site operations.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and implement construction plans to meet project deadlines.
  • Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties to ensure a smooth workflow.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Ability to read and understand direction clearly and follow instructions.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of a challenging work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop consensus building and effective communication.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a safe and healthy work culture.
