Clark Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Key Responsibilities- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
- Document patient care given and monitor, record, assess, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Minimum Education: Associate's degree nursing (RN license to serve as proof of education completion)
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree
- Required Skills: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 7 days of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 month of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 month of hire, Handle with Care within 30 days, TNCC - preferred, ENPC preferred, NRP preferred
- Licenses: KY nursing license, Kentucky RN state licensure or compact licensure required, CEN preferred within 2 years
