Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Behavior Therapist to join our team at Pediatric Therapeutic Services Inc. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing school-based services for a local school district in Newark, DE.

About the Role: The successful candidate will assist the BCBA in implementing behavioral programming, collecting data on all programming, and writing progress notes. You will also be responsible for understanding and adhering to established policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment, critical thinking, decision making, and effective time management skills through daily documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the BCBA in implementing behavioral programming
  • Collecting data on all programming and write progress notes
  • Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking, decision making, and effective time management skills through daily documentation
  • Maintain acceptable attendance status, per Agency policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with children in a professional setting
  • Child Abuse, State and Federal Clearances
