Role: Customer Sales & Service Representative I, Front Counter (Retail)

Working Hours: Current Schedule

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism and efficiency. This role encompasses all sales functions and responsibilities associated with retail sales, focusing on promoting Mediacom Bolt's products and services. Duties include addressing billing inquiries, troubleshooting service challenges, processing payments, managing equipment inventory, and coordinating service and installation appointments. Provide direct customer support in alignment with Mediacom Bolt's policies and procedures.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Meet all sales and retention targets established for the department by adhering to the prescribed departmental guidelines.
  2. Assist customers in selecting and purchasing products and services that best meet their needs.
  3. Communicate effectively regarding product and service details, billing processes, and equipment usage.
  4. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current marketing initiatives and clearly convey this information to customers.
  5. Troubleshoot basic service issues and arrange on-site service visits when necessary.
  6. Ensure daily cash drawer reconciliation and verify all received funds.
  7. Maintain a tidy work environment and conduct oneself in a respectful and courteous manner.
  8. Regular attendance is essential.
  9. Perform additional tasks as directed by your supervisor.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.

1-3 years of experience in retail and/or consumer sales is required.

Preferred candidates will have over 3 years of customer service and cash handling experience.

Strong relationship-building capabilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Proficient cash handling skills.

A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record may be necessary for certain locations.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills are essential.

Sales aptitude and a commitment to achieving sales objectives.

Capability to stand for extended periods.

Occasional travel to other regional sites may be required.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
