Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Opportunity

At Interim HealthCare, we're dedicated to providing exceptional home health care services to our patients. As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll play a vital role in delivering personalized care to seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for patients with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating, and nutritional intake
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document any changes
  • Work collaboratively with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient's care plan is followed
  • Provide companionship and activity engagement
  • Assist with grocery shopping and transportation as needed
  • Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or medical equipment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Valid CNA License in State of Maryland
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Covid-19 vaccination card
  • Physicians Clearance to start work
  • TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Valid State driver's license
  • Position is contingent on a successful background check and drug screen
  • Must be available to work every other weekend
  • Compassionate nature, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
