Job DescriptionAs a Cybersecurity Intern, you will work closely with our team to support the development and application of technical approaches to sponsor cybersecurity problems.
You will engage in projects related to cybersecurity strategy, risk management, defensive operations, engineering, cloud security, ICS security, or international cyber capacity building.
You will also have the opportunity to analyze collected information to derive insights and meaning, and to develop recommendations based on analysis.
Requirements- Be a full-time student enrolled in an accredited degree-seeking program in Cyber or Information Security or a related field.
- Have academic coursework or experience understanding threats, vulnerabilities, and risks within those domains.
- Demonstrate sustained excellence in academic performance.
- Knowledgeable of general cybersecurity concepts or capabilities.
- Experience applying cybersecurity learning to an internship or research position.
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Programming experience in a modern language like Python, C, or Java.
- Ability to engage with senior Government staff and MITRE team members.
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and approaches.
- Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
