Job Overview

Insight Financial Planning is seeking a skilled Financial Advisor to join our team. As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with new and existing clients, providing ongoing advice and service, and supporting tenured Financial Advisors in servicing existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients
  • Research and recommend investment products and funds
  • Trade securities and manage client portfolios
  • Assist in pre-appointment and post-appointment activities
  • Process applications and forms
  • Market financial services to clients and prospects

Requirements:

  • College degree required
  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required
  • Ability to obtain state insurance license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Financial concepts: 1 year (Preferred)

Essential Functions:

  • Advising clients on financial goals
  • Developing financial plans
  • Researching investment products and funds
  • Trading securities
  • Assisting in pre-appointment and post-appointment activities
  • Processing applications and forms
  • Marketing financial services

Requirements:

  • Must be a college graduate
  • Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66
  • Have obtained or able to obtain appropriate state insurance license
  • Ability to create a positive work environment
  • Ability to effectively function as a team player
  • Ability to follow a systemized workflow
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work required hours
  • Ability to work beyond regular hours when needed
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to be at work on a regular basis
  • Skill in effective verbal and written communication
  • Detail oriented
