About the Job:
The Regulatory Affairs Executive at Founders Federal Credit Union plays a crucial role in maintaining regulatory compliance and upholding the organization's commitment to excellence. This key position involves navigating the complexities of financial regulations while fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of the Credit Union's operations align with federal and state regulations.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine policies that meet regulatory requirements.
- Employee Training: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to educate employees on regulatory compliance.
- Examination Readiness: Prepare the Credit Union for external examinations, ensuring seamless communication with regulators.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify regulatory compliance.
- Culture of Compliance: Promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- Degree and Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in a compliance-related field with management experience. A four-year degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Certifications: Possession of a law degree is desirable but not required.
- Skillset: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge Base: Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, including Truth in Lending Act, Truth in Savings, RESPA, BSA, Fair Lending Laws (ECOA, FHA & HMDA), FCRA, SAFE Act, and other applicable federal and state laws.
Estimated Salary Range: $130,000 - $170,000 per annum based on performance and qualifications.
