Key Responsibilities

Operational Duties

Assist management in ensuring all operational tasks are executed in compliance with security protocols, inventory management, and relevant regulations.Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring a diverse selection of products while communicating necessary inventory actions to management.Supervise the intake and verification of shipments, transfers, and inventory control, ensuring accuracy within storage areas.Lead team members in effectively implementing programs, initiatives, and localized promotions within the store.Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed, including accurate payment processing and cash management, while overseeing team member performance.

Customer Experience

Inspire and motivate team members to consistently provide outstanding in-store customer experiences.Participate in "Leader On Duty" shifts to offer active supervision, recognize team member achievements, and guide behaviors to enhance the customer journey.Facilitate a cohesive omni-channel customer experience, ensuring consistency across in-store, drive-thru, curbside, and delivery services.Encourage team members to achieve loyalty program goals.Delegate tasks effectively during scheduled shifts, ensuring appropriate coverage and organization on the sales floor.

Team Development

Collaborate with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager to build and maintain a high-performing team by assisting in talent selection and leading the onboarding and training processes.Provide constructive feedback and coaching to help team members meet and exceed performance expectations.Assist in the team member certification process with local and state agencies.Manage scheduling for team members, including shifts, meal breaks, and rest periods.Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

A minimum of three years in customer service or retail, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred.Familiarity with inventory management is advantageous.Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.Must be at least 21 years of age.Successful completion of background checks is required.A valid driver's license or state ID is necessary.Understanding and compliance with company policies and cannabis regulations are mandatory.A passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to ongoing learning about its laws and regulations are important.

Skills Required

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform the following tasks for extended periods:

Move throughout the dispensary to assist customers and team members.Remain stationary as needed to meet business demands.Engage in direct communication with individuals and groups.Operate point-of-sale systems and other office machinery.Prepare customer orders by handling products.Inspect and verify detailed information from customers.Lift and move inventory weighing up to 30 pounds independently.Position oneself to manage inventory in storage areas.

Work Environment

Customer-facing environment.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Exposure to cannabis and potential allergens in the workplace.
