The Hops Spot is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced cook to prepare and cook a variety of dishes for our restaurant guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences through good, quality food.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality and rotating stock.
  • Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature.
  • Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
  • Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
  • Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a restaurant cook is preferred.
  • ServeSafe or Food Handler's certification is required.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to lift 30+ lbs. and work standing for 8+ hours is necessary.
