Maintenance Craftsman

Job Summary:

Cedar Point is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join its Maintenance Division. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing maintenance work on various attractions, particularly wooden rides, and other carpentry-related tasks in the park.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance work on roller coasters and other attractions
• Conduct carpentry tasks, including finish and rough carpentry, door hardware, and other related work
• Work out of lifts and climb roller coasters as needed
• Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area
• Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods

Requirements:

• Union Journeyman's card as a Carpenter in good standing
• Ability to work independently and in a group setting
• Not afraid of heights
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check
