Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to work with our clients in their homes, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, and ADL and IADL performance.
- Develop individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes and continually assess and revise the occupational therapy care plan as needed.
- Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients.
- Provide education and instruction to patients, family members, or other patient representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote health, safety, and independent living.
- A current Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
- Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
