As a **Registered Nurse** specializing in the **Operating Room**, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities- Administer professional nursing care in the operative environment.
- Execute scrub duties, including the selection and management of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Perform circulating responsibilities, which involve monitoring and documenting patient conditions while overseeing overall nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist the operating physician with critical surgical tasks, including hemostasis, suturing, and positioning of patients.
- Prepare the operating rooms and ensure surgical instruments and equipment are ready for use.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program or possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the relevant state.
- Certification in Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support is required within specified timeframes after hire.
Education:
- A diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure is mandatory at the time of hire.
At least one year of experience as an Operating Room RN is preferred.
