Overview:
Storck North America, which includes Storck Canada, Inc., Storck USA, L.P., and Central America, is part of the globally recognized Storck Group, headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Renowned for its beloved confectionery brands such as Werther's Original Caramel and Mamba, Storck Group continues to expand its presence in the North American market, achieving remarkable growth in its substantial business portfolio.

The Trade Marketing Analyst role is a vital part of the newly established Business Activation department, focusing on Trade and Shopper marketing initiatives for specific brands or brand families. This position is designed to cultivate and execute impactful trade marketing strategies and retail communication plans aimed at enhancing sales, market share, and brand visibility across diverse retail channels. A strong analytical mindset and collaborative spirit are essential for successful project execution and teamwork across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Strategy and Implementation:

  • Assist Trade Marketing leaders in formulating channel strategies and executing go-to-market plans.
  • Contribute to the development and commercialization of point-of-sale materials, ensuring timely project management and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate effective communication regarding project timelines, expectations, and updates among cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain robust relationships with internal and external partners, including packaging suppliers and German counterparts.
Trade & Shopper Program Development:
  • Provide year-round support for various marketing initiatives, including product launches and seasonal campaigns.
  • Assist in the creation, execution, and refinement of in-store and online marketing strategies for assigned Storck brands.
  • Implement tactics such as coupons, displays, in-store signage, and promotional events.
  • Collaborate with brand teams to develop effective selling materials and merchandising solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade and shopper marketing initiatives.
Retail Insights and Market Analysis:
  • Enhance understanding of the retail landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in trade marketing to strengthen Storck's market position.
  • Develop a data-driven understanding of shopper journeys and preferences.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to share insights and recommendations with senior leadership.
Additional Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and data analytics platforms.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Category Management, Trade Marketing, or Shopper Marketing, preferably in the FMCG/CPG sector.
Working Conditions: This position follows a hybrid work model, combining remote work and in-office responsibilities.

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required, including potential international travel.
