Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Position patients correctly for scanning and use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients as needed to enhance image quality.
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality and meet medical standards.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • ARRT National certification with registration in computed tomography.
  • State-specific licensing when required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
