Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LPN, Paramedic, or EMT to join our team as a Center Medical Specialist at our Plasma Donation Center in Cincinnati, OH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing physical examinations, establishing medical histories, and ensuring donor suitability. You will also build rapport with donors, provide education on general health, and manage donor injuries and adverse events.

Responsibilities
  • Perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability
  • Build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction
  • Ensure donor and staff confidentiality
  • Responsible for donor awareness to potential hazards
  • Provide donor education regarding general health and provide counseling regarding unacceptable test results
  • Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events
  • Perform evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability
  • Assist in employee training
  • Administer employee Hepatitis Vaccine program
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR certification is also required.
