Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Internal Resource Pool (IRP) for a travel nursing assignment in Labor and Delivery at Mass General Brigham. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who value flexibility and variety in their work.

Job Summary

The clinical nurse is responsible for providing competent, compassionate patient-centered care to patients and families in the Labor and Delivery unit. This includes delegation to and supervision of non-professional clinical and support staff, as well as collaboration with the Nursing Director and members of the Patient Care Team to achieve efficient patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provides and maintains a therapeutic environment for patients and families
  • Articulates the professional nursing role to the patient, family, and health team members
  • Identifies, plans, and implements nursing interventions, facilitates, and evaluates outcomes of nursing care for an individual patient or group of patients
  • Coordinates involvement of the patient, family, and health team members in patient care, including patient/family education, teaching, and discharge planning
  • Documents relevant patient data/information
  • Communicates the plan of care and other pertinent information to/from other health care team members
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum BSN Required
