Nutrition Therapist

Medical Nutrition Therapy Associates, a leading provider of nutrition services, is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. We offer an attractive compensation package with excellent benefits.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will perform nutritional assessments and ongoing evaluations of the plan of care for each resident, providing personalized guidance and support. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Nutritional Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop and implement effective nutrition plans.
• Counseling Services: Provide one-on-one counseling to residents and their families, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
• Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences as needed, ensuring seamless coordination of care.

Requirements:

• Candidate Qualifications: Must be a Registered Dietitian with experience in LTC settings and proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Skills and Qualities: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus Experience: Familiarity with food-service management and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
