LPN Charge Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN Charge Nurse to join our team at Autumn Lane Health & Rehab. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for directing patient care and supervising nursing assistants. If you are a compassionate and organized individual with a passion for delivering high-quality care, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
  • Operate oxygen equipment, suction machines, and manual respirators as needed.
  • Deliver medications and receive drugs from the pharmacy according to established procedures.
  • Collect lab specimens, interpret results, and implement IV administration.
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Document and bill supplies used.
  • Maintain effective communication with attending physicians and the Director of Nursing Services.
Requirements:
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or approved LPN program.
  • Proficient in using a computer, especially Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
