We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Incredible Health in Bakersfield, CA. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in the care of critically ill patients, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
Responsibilities- Rapidly assess patient conditions, including vital signs and physiological parameters, and intervene with appropriate care.
- Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions.
- Manage life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring.
- Participate in rapid response and emergency situations.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
- Educate patients and families about their condition and care plan.
This is a full-time position with competitive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition assistance. The salary for this position is estimated to be between $80,000 to $110,000 per year, based on location and experience.
Qualifications- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
- 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU).
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Ability to function effectively under stress.
- Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
