Role Summary

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to enhance our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional culinary standards and a remarkable cafe experience.

The Sous Chef will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef, applying strong hospitality and operational skills to manage daily administrative and operational functions, including financial oversight and adherence to sanitation and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all menu and production guidelines, including opening and closing checklists.
  • Inspire, train, and develop kitchen staff.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in sourcing products and ingredients that meet sector standards and sustainability commitments.
  • Foster a culture of food and workplace safety.
  • Maintain open and accurate communication with clients.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Culinary Arts preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory kitchen role or relevant culinary experience in a high-volume, quality food service environment.
  • Strong enthusiasm for exceptional food and hospitality.
